I turned 17 on April 20th. W00t w00t, another year in the bag! I survived. And of course, being me, I escaped. At the age of 17, I am old enough to move out on my own. So I did.

So. Now I live with Bill. It's great, it really is. Except for one tiny thing.

Bill lies. He lies about small things, you know, stuff that normally, NORMALLY.... is insignificant. And when he isn't LYING, he's conveniently forgetting to tell me other things. Like how much money we have to work with. Or what the deal is with our lease agreement and rent.

Until I moved in with him, I have never lived out on my own. Always lived with one of my parents. This is understandable of a 17 year old. I know absolutely NOTHING about rent and landlords, because I've always lived in a townhouse with my dad, or for a year in a house with my mom.

So rent was due on the first. I didn't know, like I said. Well yesterday, there was a note on our door saying our rent was delinquent. Go figure. Bill said he had until tomorrow (today, now) to pay it. Okay, whatever. He gets a check soon. Since he can't start working for a day or two, because they are doing a background check, he got up way early this morning to go to a day labor place, get a few bucks to work for a few hours. That's okay.

So he gets up, I'm lazing around the apartment, which has turned into a definite routine for me, and there's a knock on the door. That can't be good. I'm not expecting anybody, nobody should be here.

It's the landlady, Georgina. Oh fuck. Not good. Not good at all.

She tells me that she needs the rent. I tell her Bill isn't here right now, I'll have him contact her as soon as he gets in. What's her response?

"Well, the rent is late. If you two don't pay me your delinquent rent by tomorrow, I'm signing the eviction notice. You will then have thirty days to move out. And, if at any point between now and then, whether you pay me or you move out, if we find that no one is home, we will re-key the locks, not allowing you in the apartment until such time as you can pay us."

Mother fucker.

I call Sandy, Bill's mom, and then I call my mom. Sandy bitches and whines, which I normally do anyway, but says she'll put up some cash. I call my mom, who says she'll pay half. Call Sandy back, she says she'll pay half. Give it to us when my mom goes in to work at 3:30. And then we pay back my mom and Sandy. Fuckity fuck fuck.

I'm so going to kill my fiance when he gets home. This shit has gone on long enough. *Growls* I'm tired of him lying about little things and completely omitting others. I'm tired of it. If he doesn't start letting me know what the fuck is going on, I'll walk out. I won't deal with it.

No wonder his mom is such a bitch towards him sometimes.
